Thanks!... Bummer for the stuff I own now.. What to do with it? I wonder if these products have any type of demand if I try to resell them in ebay? What I am ultimately trying to do is to have my favorite songs in a portable player, but considering I have over 400 CD's that's a lot of music! I was hoping to use my PC and I am interested in the best quality possible. Any advice on what would be good for me?

Well that's the thing... I am totally out of the loop since I bought all my MD equipment way back.. so I am unsure of new MD technology etc.. So that means that I can only use the older MD's? Nutshell, it's too old and if I want the ability to put more songs in an MD I have to get a Hi-MD, Deck, player and car stereo again? Yikes!

Hello Everyone! Newbie here I currently own: Sony MDS-JE320 that came with a MZ-E40 player. I also own a Sony MDX-C700 car stereo.. However, I haven't used any of these for a long time since I moved around alot and had them in storage. I WAS contemplating getting an ipod because I wanted to increase my capacity of songs .... But... I did have a listen to the ipod and I think the quality sucks! I am a real stickler for quality. Therefore, I dusted off my MD deck and player and I am now left wondering a few things... Here are my questions: 1) Can I use my MDS- JE320 deck to record the newer MD's? 2) Can I use my player to listen the newer MD's? 3) How about my car player? Will it play the newer MD's? I also have tons of blank MD's and I am hoping to still use and keep all I have.. However, my stuff is dated a bit..so I don't know where I stand.. I would appreciate any clarification and guidance as to the evolution of the MD that I have missed and any compatibility issues regarding to any of the MD devices that I own. Cheers! San
