  1. yeah i have tried that too, both atrac and mp3 formats. doesnt make any sense to me. im going to go back to ss2.1 i think. thanks for your help
  2. no, i just imported the mp3 file into ss then i tried to transfer to the nwhd1. thats how i have done it before - i thought it automatically converted the files to ATRAC format?
  3. thanks for the help, but i had already tried that. i have now tried ss3.4 with my NWA-1000 (this has not been formatted) it works perfectly and transfered tracks straight away! i then tried transfering excatly the same track to my NW-HD1 but it came up with the same error so i'm confused. I can only think that it a problem with the player could it be because my NW_HD1 has not been upgraded to play mp3s? looks like i might have to reinstall ss2.1...........................
  4. yeah thats the only message i get........ i click transfer, then the track appears in the device window. then it comes up with 'converting', it stays on 0% converted for a split second before the error message pops up. i will do a screen dump when i get home......... thanks.
  5. Hi I'm new to this forum and I need some help! I have just formatted my pc and decided to install Sonicstage 3.4. Unfortunately I can no longer transfer music on to my NW-HD1. I formatted the pc and the NW_HD1, then i copied my mp3 files back on to the pc from my external hard drive. I then imported the mp3s into sonicstage 3.4 and tried to transfer them to my player. (i did this in the same way i have done thousands of times before. However when transfering the tracks are not converted and message pops up saying that 'transfers are not allowed'! Does anyone know why this is? and how i can over come it? Should i go back to sonicstage 2.1/2.3? Thanks Batfink82
