    ss3.4 failure

I have tried reloading older versions of sonicstage but they all appear with the same problen JSP, as for working on other pc it seems some people on here have not got a problem, or do but its a different one, my love for sony hasent totally vanished.....yet ..........only a week or two to see if ss4 sorts out the problem......I started on ss3 and upgraded a couple of times then 3.4 seems to have caused a conflict somewhere, I've poked about all over the regkeys and other places I would normally be to scared to look (bet I've buggered something else up ) cheers Stuge, looking forward to the new ear buds- hope the cable casing is a little studier though.....my last sony ones disintergrated after 3 months, still work great , though the bare copper wires are a pain

    ss3.4 failure

Hi, I was using sonicstage 3.sumthing when I noticed 3.4 with all its smart extras, so thought I'd upgrade and carry on using a system that others had knocked but I found quite good(maybe because my NWE507 is my first digital player) ever since I have been unable to use sonic, I keep getting " omgjbox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" with this when the details are shown. Appname: omgjbox.exe AppVer: 3.4.1.13062 Modname:mfc71.d11 ModVer: 7.10.3077.0 Offset:00031560 my system details are MS Win XP home ed. ver202 with service pack2 AriesPC AMD Sempron 2600+ 1.83 GHz,256mb RAM I been in touch with Sony Support UK who gave me 3 pages of instructions which I followed with no success, I was told it was being escalated to Sony Europe and have heard nothing for 2 weeks, I bought an external disk drive thinking I could load the software to that and use it (I'm only an amatuer techno user) ...... my mate bought a similar unit on my recommendation and used my pc to update and now niether of us can.... I have seen on other forums where people have rebooted thier pc to get over this problem,am I going to have to do this and re-install everything ???? hope someone can help Gaz
