Thanx a mil

I recently got an MZ-RH10 and The manual says that you can only change the 6-band EQ settings in sound modes only if you own a japanese or american model.. I live in europe and so is there a way I can modify the preselected sound settings? all that aside, it's a great player, really slick, but a bit complicated to use in it's full capacity... that's all thanx
