  1. Hey there, I'm looking for any Tracy Chapman Live shows that I don't already have particularly any live recordings from the recent 2005 Where You Live Tour. I'm looking to trade any media; CD, DVD, Video, DAT, Tape, Hi-MD etc. Check my Tracy Chapman Live List at: http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/tracyc...ive/index.jhtml Thanks
  2. Hi everyone I want to upload some music from my RH10, however, when I purchased my RH10 the USB lead that hooks up to the PC wasn't with it as it should be. I live in the UK and I purchased my RH10 from the states so thought that it would be less hassle for me to deal with that problem when I finally need to upload. Anyhow's I now need to start uploading so does anybody know where I can go to buy the USB lead? And would a USB purchased from the UK work considering I purchased the MD from the USA? Or If anybody has a spare USB lead that they can sell to me - I would be very appreciative of this. I will pay the asking price for the USB lead and cover shipping also whether it be from the UK or USA. Your help would be very welcome. Many Thanks
  3. Hi thanks for the help. The funny thing is that the show taped perfectly and I listened to the track a few times, thats why I am thinking I have done something myself to the track in question. Funny thing is though I would have thought that if I'd have deleted the track in error the track would completely disappear, but like I said the track is still there but when you try to play it it just skips forward as though I am pressing the fast forward button through the track. Any ideas???
  4. Hey everyone. I just taped my first show last Sunday with the Sony RH10 - I am really pleased with the sound quality. However, when I played the show back one of the tracks will not play - all it does is skip forward as though the fast forward button has been pressed (needless to say I'm not pressing the fast forward button the player does this automatically) To start with the particular track in question played perfectly - I don't know if I've pressed anything during playback by accident but I can't understand why this one track now won't play. Can anybody give me a little advice? Will I be able to do anything to restore/retreive this track? Thanks in advance

  6. Hi all Just purchased a battery module from the SP's which has a single level control option with bass roll off. This is great as it avoids you having to change manual settings throughout the concert on your MD. I personally try to not change the level settings when the concert has started but its a great option to have for the songs that you know are going to have the sudden peaks in volume etc.......
  7. Hi everyone I am going to record a live concert in the next month or 2 in France. I have thought about the set up and I have decided I am going to purchase the following: MD Recorder HiMD RH10 WOULD THE EXTERNAL RECORDING LEVEL METER BE REQUIRED/NEEDED? Mics - SP SPSM 7 Advice from Sound Pro is to go with the Sub Cardiod option! I plan to aim the mics towards the stage through my shirt or something. Low sensitivity option is the one I'm going for. Also comes with built in omni mics - that would also give me a decent sound quality - this may prove useful if things get tricky before the concert as I would be able to revert to the built in mics to again be more discreet. Power Module - With Bass Roll Off SP SPSB 5 I will need to be very discreet with the recording so this is why I like the above set up! The concert will have quite a bit of bass - and this is what I am worried about. Even though the battery box above has a bass roll off - I wouldn't want to risk getting it out during concert as I might get caught out by security etc. The bass during the concert won't be too extreme but does anybody have any advice for me around this to be able to avoid using the bass roll off? I intend on poking the mic's through my shirt or something. Any thoughts on this? And any advice related to my set up regarding what I need to do before the concert and during the concert would be very appreciated. I think I may also have to record on the one disc for the 220 minutes - I know there will be some loss with this but at least I won't have to change disks! I'd also need a little guidance with regards to how I set my gear up before the concert. IE sound setting, recording setting etc. I am going to 2 concerts; the first is about 4 rows from the stage centre and the second show is about 9 rows back to the right of stage. Does this make a difference on what I need to do? Many Thanks
