  1. Thanks for all your help. Used the new MD at the Falkirk v Hibernian game on sat & the audio quality is excellent., broadcast quality in fact. The Hibs Manager Tony Mowbray even noticed I had a new MD!! Had a few probem s uplaoding some of the audio, but got there in the end & emailed it in MP3 format to the studio. Cheers Keith
  2. Just purchased a SONY MZRH-10 after reading some of the recommendations on this forum. Looks fantastic & I was hoping it would be a welcome addition to my audio equipment. I already own a full size Sony MD. I decided upon this as the MD equipment supplied was unrealiable & I therefore wanted my own equipment which I had confidence in. Took the Md out of the box & charged it up. Whilst I was doing that I persused the user manual.....which tells me that you can only record using the new Hi-MD format The problem I have is this.... I bought the MD for the purpose of counducting broadcast quality interviews for my local football team HIBERNIAN . for a local radio station. The work is however unpaid, although I do get into the game free. The interviews are conducted after each game home & away with the Hibs manager & opposing team management & are then edited & used on the sports bulletins. I use a quality condenser mic. I would then normally drop the MD back at the studio for editing. the MD players there are professional Tascam MD's which play both normal & LP MD's. Don't think they support the new format however. The basic question is this... Is it just a case of downloading a bit of software onto my Md to enable me to record straight onto standard MD? OR..... I stuck with a bit of kit, which won't do the job? As I've already used It I probably wont be able to return the goods. I'm afraid I'm not very technical, so any help or advice would be appreciated. Best Regards Keith
