Perhaps we can coax someone like the makers of RestoreMyFiles - which claims the ability to recover a long list of media file types (but not .oma/.omg or Sonic Stage's HMA files<whatever those are) - from removable media. I've just sent an email to Sony seeing what they might suggest. I'll let everyone know if I have any luck with file recovery info.
