I just found them available for pre-order on www.sonystyle.co.uk (MP3 players section) - 512kb model is £79, 1Gb model is £99. They hit the streets mid Sept.

Sorry, I don't have specific pricing info but I do remember that Sony said they would be priced 'competitively'.

The Walkman Beans I had to photograph are pre-production samples, so they were non-functioning. One of them had a working 5-way button - it does feel like you'd be able to operate it easily in your pocket.
