Thanks for that I will. Still I'd rather have a decent player with good sound that will play mp3s. I don't mind mp3 at 192kbps and above as long as there is equipment, pref a harddisc player, that can play them. But no one has invented a harddisc player that sounds any good yet. boo

Oh well looks like i'll keep recording with the seperates unit for now, i'll have to carry around minidiscs but at least i'll have the sound quality. Till someone invents a good sounding harddisc player I'm not ready to move on. Just keep making minidiscs that will play SP sony for goodness sake!

Having sold my IPOD color cause even with wav. files in it it sounds like poo doo my question is... I want to be able to record cds to minidisc using sonicstage, so I can take advantage of easy track titles etc writing.. but still want to be able to play minidiscs in my old pioneer minidisc seperates unit. Can this be done? which encoder should I use to make it compatable. I want to do it at high quality too, I don't mind if I only fit one album to one minidisc. Also..can you change the genre titles in sonicstage like in itunes?
