what do u mean "Native" chinese version, is there any possible that i can get a similiar one for 3.3? My MD Seems cannot support chinese at all. now (after i change the coding into 34, according to the service manual, all the chinese word displayed as "........" instead of those wired characther/symbol. there is no way to upgrade the firm ware rite? to enable the chinese function for the MD. anyway thanks for all the help given.

Allright guys, finally i made it! now sonic stage 3.3 is working with chinese. there is only 1 thing that it still need the help with APPLOC, it cannot run like last time (Ver 2.3) which can support chinese automatically. anyway, thanks everyone for your great help again.

ok i am reinstalling the software, having everything started again (include deletion of registry) i will try it out. beside that, i can't download AppLocale, cause i can't get my window XP validate, can someone post it here so i can download? Thanks. Will get back to you guys when i am done, btw, i can go in the service manual already. it doesn't seems helping. my md still cnanot display chinese. probably it doesn't come with chinese firmware (not chinese version) it was stated an US version. i can't even change the menu into chinese (can't even find a place to change menu language, or i don't know where perharps?) thanks for all of your generous help esp Ishiyoshi

hi thanks for your quick reply i go to the registry, i can't even find any value called "AreaCode" what i found inside are only (Default), DLLName, Name and Version. The Version is 4.3.00.08302 by the way i had downloaded the service manual and it seems needing a file called "TestMode_Enter_For_900_800_700_600_600D_Ver****.exe" i don't have it. where can i download it? oh yea by the way, i am using Window XP SP2, and if i switch the region to China(PRC), Sonic Stage 3.3 works perfectly displaying every single chinese character, but if i change back to English (US), English (UK) or any other language, then the Chinese Character in Sonic Stage 3.3 become "????" again. The reason i don't want to change to China(PRC) is because most of the softwares in my PC will become chinese based. which i don't really like. please assist.thanks

hi my friend just gave me a Sony Hi-MD MZ-NHF 800 but it seems cannot support chinese character. i am wondering how to confirm the firmware for my md so that i know is the MD itself cannot support chinese character or the software/other problem that cause the MD cannot support chinese title. thanks.

ok i got a problem here, which i think most of the chinese MD fans are having. anyway, i just installed Sonic Stage 3.3 [all reigon] (was using 2.3). and now i got all the chinese character in ???. is there any solution for me? or it is just my fate to use only version 2.3 by the way, my friend gave me this Hi-MD MZ-NHF800 in Malaysia and i am not sure what region version it is as it can never display chinese name on either my remote control nor the MD LCD Screen, is there any way to determine which region my Hi-Md is from and how to make my Sonic Stage to support Chinese character....and if possible for my Hi-MD as well.Thanks alot for your kind help.
