I have made some live recordings with my Sharp MD portable and I was thinking to buy a deck MD, probably Sony 780 or 980, so as to transfer the recordings to another media (cd or pc) and then work on them, but without loosing any of the original sound quality. Can this process be done via the usb port that these 2 devices have, or it's not possible as through a portable NetMD?
