Thanks Guys, I updated to 4.2 and was able to connect my A1000 with no problems.

I read in another post that after updating to Sonistage CP4.2 a reformat of the A1000 is required. Can anyone confirm this, as I am not to keen on the idea of having to reload 5gb of music.

First Start: 19 seconds Second Start =6 Seconds For comparison my other players are : Winamp takes 10 seconds Second start 4 seconds Windows Media Player takes 2.3 seconds Second start 1.6 seconds
