  1. Why would you want to convert files into wav format? Does it speed up making an audio CD?
  2. Okay Sonic Stage 3.4 seems to have solved my issues! 2 more questions if you have time: 1. How to attach a music file or any file to PM... I looked and could not find it. 2. My midi files now sound cracky. Could it be total recorder did something?
  3. A440-I really apreciate all your help-If you're interestd I can send you the song that I recovered. Sonic Stage 3.4 is a little shaky... I'm not convinced that the error was due to something on the disc. When I tried to import a wav created in total recorded. Sonic Stage just froze. I went to task manager and closed the program. It then gave me the Omgjbox.exe error. I tried this several times, and I restarted the computer. Also when I click on the program icon to open the program. It takes a really long time to start and sometimes doesn't open. Side question. Is sonic stage the best program to convert wav to mp3?
  4. Thank you, I was able to recover the song! Now is this disc bad? Should I throw it away? I have some regular MD discs, but I thought the recording wouldn't be as good on those. Also for updating the software. Do you think I need to go to reg edit as suggested by a poster below. I also saw there was a 3.4. Should I update to that? Do you have program you suggest for WAV editing?
  5. I made a live recording of a show with several tracks. I selected the tracks to copy over. When it got to track 10, It went part way and then gave me Omgjbox.ex has encountered a problem and needs to close and it closed. I opened Sonic Stage and Track 10 was not transfered. It said transfered to HD on the mini disc. I tried again and got the same error. Then I restarted the computer. I tried a third time and the track tranfered. It was 4 min long, but only the first min was sounding if I let it just play. If i ffwd a few seconds I could hear the track again. I tried converting it to wav and only the first min was converted. I tried burning a CD through Sonic stage and only the first min was converted. I renamed the file and tried transfering it again from the HD. It then was deleted from the HD. Is this what the software does? Any Ideas on how to save this file. All other tracks downloaded ok, but of course this is the one file that was really wanted.
