thanx for replying, dex O and Jacques.. I only just discovered them.. -so am I like the only one who has suffered this?- or did i inadvertantly do something really dumb as i suspect i may have at the end whilst trying to load some more fotos on the 2nd disc. I would back up but have been on the move since I bought the MD [in this too I would have preferred to be familiar but am not as technical as i should be; and the beneffits of doing with a handful of discs rather than the 20+ i always used to carry was very tempting, especially whilst cycling] btw, this 2nd disc could be copied onto a pc, and back onto a clean disc, but even my technical friend in his 1st go at sonicstage could not get any functionality.. thanx again, Deep.

hello, I started on Hi-MD last otober, and since then have a disc which evokes "disc error" - the only option presented is to reformat, but I do not want to lose a lot of live recording on there; further to this, last friday a disc i was listening to a lot, also including live recording + photos, - just as i finished addinfg some more photos, when next i tried to play gave a "cannot record or play" message, and has done so ever since. -however, this 2nd one atleast seems to be read by the pc when connected; if possible I would atleast download it to a pc, but then again should I hold off till I can get SonicStage 3.4?? in general, is there any way of retrieviving data from a HI-MD when it acts like these 2 above? thanx very much.. I'm wondering why this may happen; it's shredding the confidence I had in this new MD just as I was coming to rely on it, as I am travelling around a lot [but if anyone is wondering, the discs etc are well looked after]. - and I guess others may have experienced this? -Deep.

hello, I am totally new to this: have just bought a HiMd, and bypassed the SonicStage 2 disc that came with it in favour of downloading 3.2. However, I find no trace of the SImple Burner... - would anyone know if I am doing something obviously wrong; - could it be that the 3.2 I got had no 'intention' of having SimpleBurner in it; -is the best option for me to download the SimpleBurner 2 I have seen here, dated 2004? thanks, D.
