  1. Thanks for that Roamer , That's what I was looking for. From what I can see , files that are locked have a small square to the left of them ( in Sonic Stage ) and ones that can be downloaded have a angle on the left side of the square. See Change
  2. I have an MD MZ - NH700 I've now worked out what I should be doing to organise my files correctly ( ideas for songs , recorded via Mic) but I have a backlog of files to down load and save as wav files I've installed SS 3.2 and also have audacity if I want to input the files directly into the Computer as an alternative. I have several Mini Discs with several hundred small files which I'd prefer to download via Sonic stage. Some have previously been download via SS, but I'm not sure which. I've found that even if I 've installed the latest version of SS ( 3.2) , If I've previously downloaded files on an older version , SS detects this and as a result not only doesn't downloads the files but deletes them from the mini Disc. Obviously the way around that is to record them through Audacity through the line in in the computer but given I have several hundred files , this would be a slow and tedious process.. Is there a way to tell whether I've previously downloaded the files. Is there a way to record the files ( up to 50 small files organised in folders ) without having to record each individual file seperately ( not track markets their ) ? Will WinNetMD help me with this ? I went to the link posted in this thread http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=4276&st=15 To find out more about it , but the initial link doesn't work , and with the home page being in ( ? ) German if found it hard to find the info Any help would be appreciated See Change
  3. Thanks for the replies guys. Having spent a bit of time reading this forum I've worked out what I need to do from now on . What I was really hoping for is a way to read the info that I'd dragged and dropped into my hard Drive prior to loosing it. I use my MD as a dictaphone for ideas for songs , so there's some stuff I'd like to rescue. I also want to convert the oma files that I've previously downloaded into Wav files. Is this possible? 4. Gradually working out the pitfalls of using a Hi MD recorded I've discovered , the unfortunate way, that Sonic stage deletes files ( recorded analog Via Mic ) that you've already uploaded from your Hi MD to sonic stage. Prior to attempting to do this , I'd copied the contents of the Disc into a folder on my Hard Drive. I've copied this file back to a blank disc, and while the new disc shows there are files on it , these are not being read by sonic stage. I've just coming to terms with Sonic stage , so I'm not sure if I'm doing something incorrectly or what I'm trying to do isn't possible regardless. Any ideas See Change
