  1. Sector they may have halted prod. but im sure some are still sold somewhere . I hope anyway....Im also asking about sticker/label templates, but i guess ill have to attempt to make my own.
  2. I figured i'd ask this one, i search through the forums and was not successful in finding any topics discussing this. I would love a template for the following disc types (and FYI, i am actually seeking the first disc type to purchase, anyone know the model no. for that kind or know where i can buy them?) and this kind...
  3. I am simply floored by this recorder....i owned an NH1 loooong ago when it first arrived in america, but this thing is incredible...just finished making a 120+ track Metal Gear Series HI-MD lol
  4. Is there any way someone can direct me to the gray colored hi-md blank discs? I've been wanting those for AGES. I love those more than the rest. Thanks in advance.
  5. Strange lol, after all these months, my RH1 is finally arriving soon and i hope this problem wont happen again, but this time, i'll take a look into the warranty lol. Thanks for all the input people, though it was sometime ago lol.
  6. Actually, the topic is here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?act=S...ost&p=73522 As you can see, i wasn't the only one . They weren't recent posts, but i thought it was something to consider before buying a new MD player.
  7. I am thinking of getting a new minidisc player finally and I remember posting in the forums here last year, about November about a particular problem I had regarding the recording function on the minidisc player I had/have. The recording stopped because of the faulty ribbon cable that connects to the motherboard of the player had broken/snapped due to stress(?). I am thinking of purchasing an MZ-RH1 and my BIGGEST question is: does the MZ-RH1 suffer from the SAME problem? Does it have the SAME ribbon cable setup/layout as the Player I have? (that, as I type this, sits in a dark and cold compartment with all the original parts....) If so, then chances are, it will suffer the SAME exact fate over time as the player I currently have and I really don't wish to waste money in that fashion, seeing as minidisc players are potentially, to me, the best portable audio players out there . Thanks for any and all input.
  8. I guess not lol. Someone has GOT to know this. I mean i dont want to grab a HI-MD model if the same ribbon cable fault will occur again .
  9. Damn lol, i have a perfectly working (except the recording;)) MZ-N1 and i have exactly the same problem. I opened it only to see that that damn SKINNY little ribbon cable was snapped, like someone cut it with a small razor. This is awful. I could have sold it for a reasonable price (i have EVEYRTHING in GREAT condition) for a newer, Hi-MD model:(. I wonder if you could substitute a different kind of cable for the ribbon cable. Damn, is there ANYTHING we could do to perhaps solve this problem?. I bought mine about 4 years ago and i doubt i could go complaning to Sony now:(. Does the RH-10 have a ribbon cable?.
