  1. The HD5 has been sold. Thanks Mitch. JB920 still available.
  2. Great person to do business with. Thanks.
  3. The Rh1 sold. Sorry, but can anyone tell me how to remove this thread? I've started a new one with the remaining things for sale.
  4. Hi all, The RH1 in my previous post sold. The MDS-JB920 deck is still for sale for $150. I can post pictures if anyone is interested. This is a high quality machine that rivals Sony’s super high end ‘ES’ units. Read what you can about this deck http://www.minidisc.org/part_Sony_MDS-JB920.html (QS series, digital outs, VERY smooth eject mechanism compared to lower end decks). This was my backup deck for my JB940. Can’t justify having both anymore now the I'm an iPod user (gasp). The digital outs produce amazing sound. Built to last forever. Almost perfect cosmetically …. Just a few very minor scratches. Sold with remote, functioning portable MD player and a lot of MD's too. This machine has always worked perfectly. A couple of these have sold on Ebay recently for more than I am asking .... one went for almost $160 w/o a remote! I’ll consider offers on the JB940 (QS series, digital outs, MDLP, SF edit, etc.) Also for sale is my HD5 hard disc player. 20 gigs. This unit shows some cosmetic wear but has always functioned perfectly. $125. Any sale price will have to include actual shipping cost and paypal fee of 2.9%. Thanks.
  5. Greetings MD lovers .... It's time for me to part with some gear. I'll assume anyone looking is familiar with these units... feel free to ask any questions ... I'll post some photos if there is much interest. Make reasonable offers ... I can't give any of this away. ALL IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER !!! RH1 is mint ... minimal use. RH1 remote has more wear since I used it with the HD5. The HD5 (20 gigs) shows moderate signs of use. Both decks are in great condition and build to last forever .... digital in's and out's .... MDS-JB920 plays SP (legacy) only .... MDS-JB940 plays SP, LP2 and LP4. Remotes included. No BS here ... from one MD lover to another .... you will be happy and satisfied with any of these. I've got hundreds of discs I can throw in as well. I'd love to see this stuff get used again! Thanks for looking, Tom (Washington State, USA)
  6. Greetings oldskool MD junkies, I’ve decided to part with my MDS-JB920 deck. It’s a high quality machine that rivals Sony’s super high end ‘ES’ units. Read what you can about this deck http://www.minidisc.org/part_Sony_MDS-JB920.html (QS series, digital outs, VERY smooth eject mechanism compared to lower end decks). This was my backup deck for my JB940. Can’t justify having both anymore now that I’m using HiMD. The digital outs produce amazing sound …. I just compared them with the RCA outs into my amp with digital ins and wow, what a difference. Almost perfect cosmetically …. Just a few very minor scratches. Sold with remote, functioning portable MD player and 10 unopened TDK MD’s. This machine has always worked perfectly. I really don’t know what value this has these days … $150 or so. I’d like to see what interest there is so make me an offer. I’ll even consider offers on the JB940 (QS series, digital outs, MDLP, SF edit, etc.) If you have an RH-1, these decks are very relevant and useful. Amazing sound. I’ve got 100% positive feedback on e-bay as ‘lummitom’. I can be reached at 360 220 5324 or tom@heartwoodjoinery.com I’d be happy to send photos …. Thanks. Tom (Heartwood), Washington State
  7. Greetings MD junkies, I've recently converted to HiMD after many years of happy and healthy MD addiction. Gone are the simple days of SP mode .... HiMD is great though. Thanks for all the help members of this forum have provided. I've had an RH-10 for a few months now and am happy with what it and Sonic Stage 3.2 can do for me. I'm wanting to use my old reformated MD's as backup for some of what I have on the harddrive and of course for general listening. Here's where my problem seems to be .... If I put some music on a reformated MD from SS as a "back-up", delete the origional music then try to upload back into SS, it won't let me. SS says "tracks that do not exist in my library are selected...." (I know) and asks if I want to delete them from the MD. (Not at all, thanks.) The same thing happens if the music is origionally from a CD or a line in recording on the RH-10. This doesn't make sense to me ..... it seems like I should be able to store music on HiMD's and put it back on the computer when I want. Can anyone help? What am I missing. Thanks.
