Hi, I don't find SS to be the worst program around in terms of usage, and when it works I am satisfied. I tend to convert all my mp3s to Atrac3 because it saves room and battery on my NWHD5. But twice now I have had a problem where it suddenly stopped being able to convert files from mp3 to atrac. I tried uninstalling SS, but this is where the problems began. I cannot uninstall SS, through Add/remove files. It gives me the following message: Error Code: -5006 : 0x80070002 Error Information: >Kernel\TextSubstitution.cpp (553) >SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (1356) pAPP:SonicStage PVENDOR:Sony Corporation And says that I should check to see whether there are any other instances of unistall still going on etc. There are not. I have tried this countless times after restarting my computer etc. I got so frustrated that I tried to uninstall the software through simply deleting the SS folder and the HKEY instances of it, as well in the docs and settings folder. I really really have no idea how to uninstall this software and until I do, there is no way to either reinstall SS3.1 or install 3.2- it just tells me that the install has been "terminated". This happens automatically Can anyone help? Last time this happened I solved it through a complete computer reboot, which was needed anyway. However within 3 weeks of this reboot, this useless program has done it again. i dont intend to reboot my comp this time. ANy help appreciated Thanks
