with my remote control experiance all new sony remotes work with the old ones(alsong as they have the same remotecontrolhole) jus that maybe sum buttons don work as they are suppost to..i borrowed one from my friends old shitty netmd(totaly broken) and when i pressed play i changed the volume :s and the nh600 does have support for remote controls, jus that u don get one with it :
