Equipments: SONY MD: MZ-N10 (BRAND NEW) PC: P4 1.5 +512RAM + XP SP1 Problems experiencing: With the write-protect tab flicked off at all time. (This means no see through the tab hole right?) 1) When not connected to PC through USB and a blank minidisk is inserted: Device reads the minidisc forever and displays BUSY 2) When connected to a PC thorough USB: PC (both in device manager and Sonic Stage 1.5) does not recognize the MD device if a blank minidisc is inserted and the device displays PC--> MD. Only recognize the device when a blank minidisc is not inserted. 3) After recording from line-in the MD will end up showing "SAVE DATA" forever. Question: Is my SONY MD’s problem related to a recording wire issue similar in post http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=4712 titled "A Solution to Blankdisc and Recording Problems." If not, please help me thank you very much in advance as I have been struggling for months now.
