I am currently studying at the University of Manchester and am studying the Mini-disc Market as part of a course assignment. I was wondering if you had any idea of sales figures globally for mini-disc players/recorders, whether by number of units sold or value of the market? Also I would be interested to know a rough idea of how this market breaks down in terms either of national trends (I believe that Japan is quite a large market for mindisc) and/or in terms of professional users compared to domestic users. Any information you have, or any pointers towards where my search may be better conducted would be grateuflly received.
