Hi I have had my Sharp MT77 for a few years which has served me well for live recording. Things such as adjusting the recording levels on the fly, backlit remote control and being able to start recording (when already paused) and stop recording from the remote make it very good, and ofocurse MDLP. However with the clearance products here: http://www.minidisc.com.au/default.php?cPath=1 I have been thinking of upgrading to a Hi-MD unit, the 1GB capacity and USB transfers (and the price) make it very tempting. I have been out of touch with MD tech for a few years and was wondering if anyone can advise which of these clearance units would be best for live recording. I also like the idea of having a tuner on my MD, especially if I can record from it to MD directly on the unit. Can anyone advise which of these units are best for live recording and if any record from the tuner to MD directly? Thanks VD
