Hello - just some additional info following my posting below: The HI-MD model is MZ-RH10, i'm using SonicStage software version 3.0, window XP **my windows DID crash when i installed the software - does it have anything to do with all my problems? after i got the ACCESS ERROR msg while transferring my live recording from the MD to my PC, i keep ejecting and putting the disc in again and again, and the MD walkman is behaving like this: the MD walkman sometimes displays only the battery sign (with some noise which appears to be the sound when reading the MD), sometimes it can display all the track list, but when i try to press PLAY, the system says "CANNOT PLAY". the sonicstage software can still display the track list, yet again, when i click PLAY it just won't play on the computer. I did try right-clicking the playlist on the Sonic stage software and transfer it to MY library (in the "TRANSFER" screen), yet when it started to appear to be tranferring, i got a msg "INTERNAL ERROR - an internal error has occurred during the transfer". this is as far as i get! i'm really puzzled because it seems all the data are STILL on the disc, that it can display (occasionally) how much space remains, etc etc, yet i cannot play it! does it mean the data is still there? is there any chance ot recovering it? Please, if anyone has any ideas how to resolve this, i'd MUCH MUCH appreciate it! (am getting a bit desparate now as you can see........!) THANKS A MILLION!

HELP HELP HELP!!!!! I had exactly the same MD mz-rh910 model and the same ACCESS ERROR while i'm transferring my live recordings to the computer. BUT the unfortunate difference is that the tracks can NEITHER be played on the disc (it says "Cannot read or play" on the player) NOR on the computer - despite the fact that the playlist on the computer can read the contents (but CANNOT play) Does anyone have ANY solution at all??? this is my only copy of the recording and i'm REALLY desparate to restore them!!! PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!
