I'm new to this forum - found it by chance. Some years ago a friend convinced me to go into minidisc and I purchased a Sony MDS-JE510 for my separates system. I was well pleased with the unit, still performing without any problem. Later I bought a Sony MZ-E25 for holiday listening beside the pool. I also wanted a portable unit that would play CD's and MD's - preferably without a cassette deck. One day I was wandering around Dixon's (a UK High Street retailer) and came across a CASIO ZD-3 boombox which had CD/MD/radio - ideal. A real bargain, it was heavily reduced to around £70 from an original price nearer the £200 mark - obviously not a good seller - probabaly due to the unusual combination and MD still being relatively new to the British market. I trawled the equipment archives - found no reference. Was it a European market only product ? Anybody else got one ?
