Replying to my own message, it appears I was premature in my optimism .. 4.3 does still suffer this problem, just for some reaosn it seems different discs may affected. As a solution ... is there any qualty related problem, given the inherent SP-->256K conversion on importing, to make a two step import ... SP-->PCM/WAV followed by PCM/WAV-->256K? My instincts tell me the software likely does something like this behind the scenses anyways.

I just upgraded from 4.0 to 4.3 ... one of the changes I noticed right away is that the track mark shifting that had bothered me with 4.0 when uploading all the tracks on a MD with my RH1 did not seem to be an issue any longer. I have not been able to find a historic list of changes, or any mention of this track mark shifting bug having been addressed, or if my mind/computer is simply playing tricks with me.

Just got mine a week or two ago, and actually being able to use Sonic Stage the way one should is nice! I have been finally transfering my stockpile of MDs to the computer. One thing that surprised me .. I don't recall seeing this mentioned ... with the DRM opened up, even pre-recorded MDs can be transferred! Sweet!!

I (apparentyl) was just able to use the $10 coupon M4238 just fine .... these mya all still work!
