In the pre-ipod days I had my music on my minidisc (MD) and was happy, (I'm happier now with the ipod) So after transferring most of my md music over to the computer I've got hundreds of MDs sitting around collecting dust. This has probably been mention before here, but why can't I use my MDs for data storage? I would love to keep photos on them, or films or whatever. they're small and rewritable. So what's the deal? Is it because Sorny is proprietary, if so are there any hacks or workarounds to free up the player/recorder to become a storage reader writer? I saw something call the Fujitsu DynaMO 1300 U2 LT which uses storage media that looks alot like MDs. Can MDs be used in any other devices than MD recorders and players? I'm new here (just found the site) and would appreciate and help and instruction you could provide. Thanks
