Don't know if anyone can help me, normally no problems in the past so here goes. In my NW-E99 I have a MP3 File Manager which enables me to drag and drop mp3 files into my player, I have just purchased a NW-E003 for a bargain price and my question is can I copy the MP3 File Manager from my NW-E99 to my NW-E003 giving me the same possiblity of dragging and dropping to my new player. I hope so as this makes it easier than using the sonic stage every time. Well I tried the mp3 file manager in my NW-E003 and it does not work, only seems to work in the NW-E99, strange that, but never mind, Sonic Stage is has to be.

I've never considered a ipod, and this is not about one versus the other, I just love the E-99, I would like a new one now mines broken thats all. Seen a second hand one on amazon, just hoped there were still some floating around, I can but hope.

I know there are NeW 0 ne's, but look at it. it's great, it took a 40 kph impact with the ground, (tarmac) to make the usb cover to break off, the whole frame is ascue? but it still sounds great, (if kept still). I just want a new one co's it's the best. You can drag and drop with ease, perfect for commuting.

Anyone on here own a NW-E99? I've had mine for a couple of years now but it got a bit broken and needs tape to keep it together but still sounds great, just stops when the tape gets loose. I want a new one as I find it the best 1 gb player ever. Does anyone know where I can find a new one, can find the E95 but noy the E99

Hey thanks for the link, went through a few and I think I will be happy with the 40ELK as I can also use it with my MZ-NH700. I phoned my local store today to see how the order was progressing, they said it would cost 110 euro, ok I thought as I've only seen it on an Amercan site for 89 dollars and I am led to believe the one I will be recieving has English instructions. Also any problems that may arise can be sorted much easier as it's local. Thanks again, it should be here in a few days. Well, I've had my 40ELK for a week now, and of course its fully functional with my MZ-NH700, it works well with my NW-A3000 giving me artist name etc. I would not advise getting the 40ELK just for the A3000 (the scroll IS useless), but I enjoy it as I download a lot of stuff, put it on player and listen later, I can then see who I'm listening to without the need of getting player out my pocket. All in All a fine remote if you can use it with more than one of your sony music players, otherwise an expensive luxery.

I have just ordered a RM-MC40ELK for my NW-A3000, anyone on here now if all the functions on it work. I know this has been discussed before but I've trailed the boards and there seems to be some conflicting views. I got the latest firmware, I just like the idea of keeping it my pocket and the 40ELK seems to be the best solution. Anyone that has tried the combination of the NW-A3000 and the RM-MC40ELK please let me know. Cheers Has nobody tried the two together? I can't believe that, I know that most remotes are inter changeable.

Got my NW-A3000 on wednesday and was worried about dropping it, (its a bit slippy) so looked for a remote, difficult to find/purchase. Then I decided to try the one I was supplied with my MZ-NH700, its a RM-MC21, I was surprised to find that all the functions on the remote work perfectly. Just thought I would mention this as it might save someone time/money. I'm new here but very impressed, did the volume hack today and as said by others, a major improvement. Thanks
