I just purchased the core sound attenuator cable (20db). I've been getting some good recordings using: Core Sound Binuals > Batter Box > RH10 I don't believe the bass roll off (it's the switchable battbox that is sold on core sound) on the battery box works with the RH10, so I simply use it as a power source, and run the microphones to the "line in" on the RH10. My recordings, like I mentioned before, do sound pretty good, but it wouldn't hurt to get a recording with a tad less bass. I know the attenuator cable brings the "signal" down, but does it in the process also reduce the bass? Once, I receive my attenuator cable, I'm planning on taping my next show with the csbs and attenuator cable, via "mic in" without the battery box, and see what kind of capture I get. Also, is csbs > batt. box> attenuator cable > "line in" a viable option? Thanks oh, and you can hear samples of my recordings on http://www.dajmno.com
