Just checking to see if there's any interest in the UK. This deck was given to me a couple of years ago by a friend, but because the majority of my recordings are HiMD, I don't really use it enough, using my HiMD Walkman instead. It all seems to be working fine on playback at least, as I haven't tried recording with it yet. If I get any interest I'll check to make sure it records OK. It looks in fairly decent condition superficially, though there's a scratch near the standby switch and a few nicks here and there, but overall it's pretty presentable. Any interest and I'll takes some photos. Sorry I can't ship abroad, UK buyers only and collection preferred. I live in Cumbria, UK. £50 + Postage Cost

Somethings not right with my NHF800. I'm getting low battery warnings on newly charged NiMH batteries. I've just tried a bunch and all around 1.38v that are playing a short while then the battery warning comes on and then it dies. Any advice would be gratefully received. If I can't fix it then that will be the end of my MD adventure. The only change that I've made is a recent tinker to change volume levels from European to World, which worked fine after following instruction from here. Nothing else that i can think of that is different. Sorry guys, it's my multimeter that's f$cked. I just tried some more and they are all fully barred!

I still can't download the service manual for NHF700/800. And I've tried 3 versions of Acrobat Reader. It starts to download and then stalls. A direct link may help. Cheers
