  1. Hi there, I've managed to let my beloved NW-HD5 fall down the stairs and "succefully" damage the upper cabinet (the silver part with the latch covering the ports). Does anyone sell this as a replacement part or has an broken player and can sell me that piece? Thanks, Tom
  2. Will sell this drive for €60 plus shipping - should be a reasonable price for a new item with warranty by the manufacter
  3. I've just found out, that this harddrive can also be used to replace or upgrade some Ipods and Zunes. (see LINK) For security reasons, I can also list this item on ebay.
  4. Hi there, I'm selling a brand new Toshiba 40GB harddrive (MK4009GAL) which can be used to upgrade hdd-based players like the Sony NW-HD5. Payment via PayPal or personal pickup in Germany. Tom
  5. Since Sony's HD5 uses the same batteries as some of the SonyEricsson phones on the market, I'd like to know I anyone has tried to use one of the high capacity batteries with the HD5. Would it be safe to use one of these - f.e. a battery by "MaxPower" (any good?) with a capacity of 2300mAh would more than double the available power. Thanks, Tom
  6. Hi there, is it possible to somehow arrange the titles in the "tranfer screen" (where it shows the tracks on your Atrac Audio Device) by genre? In the dropdown-menu it only lists an option for album, artist and playlist - but since there's an xml hack available on this forum, maybe someone could edit that file to also include a "sort by genre" option. Thanks, Tom
  7. Any news on these new drives yet? You don't happen to know the model number for this one? EDIT: I've just checked a couple of sites for replacement hdds for the new 80GB ipod classic. There's a store which sells a 80gb version and reads that is uses ZIF. Just look at this picture of the drive: picture Doesn't the connector look like the one from the GAL drives used by Sony?! I've also found Toshiba's press release for the new drives (Link)
  8. No further ideas?! Maybe there's some kind of start command which forces a specific language version to be installed...?
  9. No, I wasn't prompted to choose a language. The entire setup process is in English. German The way I see it, there is no specific german version of SonicStage - only a multi-language one: "Note: SonicStage CP will be installed on your Operating System language in one of the following languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish." Any ideas?
  10. Hi there, I'm currently running the european release of Sonic Stage 4.3 on a German Vista system. Unfortunately I can't get the SS to be installed with a german language setting - I only get english. Any idea how I can manually select which language version is going to be installed? Thanks, Tom
