  1. Cheers. We im currently using Sonicstage on my old machine while at uni, its a Presario 2100, by Compaq all and the usual outdated specs, 30GB hard drive, running it on XP Pro (do they even manufacture these anymore - i doubt it hahaha). I changed the RAM config ages ago to use space on the HDD, I dont see any reason why this sould be causing a problem other than fact itl take slightly longer to access from the HDD than ram, so im not too sure. My main worry is that my CPU it doing over time - I dont see what it could be processing, disk throughput is rediculous; collectively this makes multitaking impossible, the program itself runs stupidly slow. All I can put it down to is how the program is written - but you'd think they'd bare that in mind when compiling the system specifications. Any idea what can be done?? Rich
  2. Hey guys. Just got Sonicstage 3.3 for my machine and it was working great for the first five mins or so. Then I noticed rapid decline in services, Pagefile usage hit 800mb and CPU stuck at 98% which isnt good, especially after a new format. Ram hit 200meg. I double checked the system reqs and 128mb or more ram and at least 450Mhrt processor. Running on a 2GHrtz and 240MB ram machine which i am, should sonicstage be using more system virtual memory and cpu than some pretty advanced 3D modelling applications???? One more thing shutting the program down doesnt remove it from task manager unless I end task. Any ideas what i can do about this? Omgjbox.exe is the main cause off all my worries. Cheers
