  1. Oh From what I was told about the USB feature was you could plug in from USB to USB and it would take the information (a la digital camera) and transfer it. I guess I'm totally wrong. Either way, I'm ready to move on to a new mp3 player from the frought with problems that both my and my friends MZ-R70 have developed.
  2. My old MDs? Why wouldn't any MDR play my MiniDiscs? I'm just looking for any MDR that has a USB port and under $50.
  3. Well I'm completely fed up with my Sony MZ-R70 (skipping recordings, disc errors, overall disatisfaction) and am ready to move on via eBay. What I want to know is what MDRs have the USB-transfer capability? I'm tired of transferring in realtime and I have sooooo many to transfer. I had bought a Griffon iMic, but it's just too time consuming at this point. I'm also trying to stay in a very cheap price range. I'd say below $50USD. I'll probably sell my former to put toward the new one, but nonetheless, any help would be greatly appreciated! P.s I'm new on this board and quite a newbie with MDRs, so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum, so if neccessary, please move it to where it would belong and get the best response. Thanks!
  4. Thank you for the responses... stupid me just went in my bag and found a disc floating around, as i had left the Act I disc, and found that miraculously Act I was on it intact and the defective disc is from another show... would still love to access that so I'll have to try w.someone else's
  5. My MDR is a SONY MDWalkman Digital Recorder - MZ-R70 I was able to record fully, TOC Edit, and Save data... as far as I know the recording is fully intact on the disc but their is a read error. When I insert the disc, it cues up like its going to play, gets to saying 00 0:00, then starts blinking DISC ERROR I'm sorry if I can't give much else detail, I'm not sure of what the format is I recorded... I usually just plug and go. This seems to be more related to the disc itself than the player because it recorded and plays back Act II perfectly
  6. New here... Well to add to my rich tradition of single act recordings, I recorded last night and bought a brand new AIWA mic to go along with it. Act II came out perfectly, and Act I recorded and saved, but now I have a disc error.... I'm looking for any insight on how I could salvage this recording and retrieve the information... Trying a diff MDR? Prying it open and putting it in another case? HELP thanks
