Have a Hi-MD question that doesn't need a thread? [part III]

Hi, I'm new to Hi MD and this forum I've just bought a MZ-NHF800. I recorded with a mic onto a 'standard' mini disc, but the player treated it as a HI-MD as I did'nt change recording mode in edit command. Is there a way of changing this disc back to a 'standard' mini disc format? Thanks
