  1. Man, have you been missing out! Finally almost every wishlist we ever had for MD has been filled: USB, software, uploading, massive memory on a disc. And the pocket harddrives (iPoops) just can't do so many things that MD recorders do (I don't want to have to buy $$$ of accessories just to record, etc. = LAME!) I just got a MZ-DH10P (The one that has a camera built-in!), and I can't tell you how many people stop and ask me what it is, etc. Plus IT'S A MINIDISC WITH A CAMERA! Yahoo gang, good times... I highly advise you to make the investment, you'll feel alive about the whole concept again.
  2. Yo! Where'd you get those TDK Flower discs? AND do you have any to sell me?!?
  3. I appreciate all of the help- I had a strong gut feeling this particular unit wasn't NetMD, nice and small though!
  4. Hey Sorry, Still figuring out the interface here: Please list the steps I need to take so that my gear lists will be at the bottom of my posts (like you guys)? I entered all of it when I registered, but it doesn't show up, and I read your help files, but... Thanks, I'm proud to join Team Hi-MD!

    86-minute MD

My theory on the disc you're talking about is this: I remember before 80 min. discs came (or even when they were still a rarity), there were a couple of websites that showed you how to trick a 74 min. disc into an 80 min. disc. The main idea behind it was that you "tricked" the table of contents somehow (and I've always assumed that's sort of how the companies devised 80 min. discs). Just my 2 cents on the subject!
  6. Hey, First of all- I apologize for putting this request for help in the Hi-MD forum, but I looked at your topics, saw no real parts info, and this is clearly the most updated forum here. I'm a new member (I've observed your site for years), but only felt compelled to join now that I have a desperate need for Japanese parts- and you are the experts on the web. I just "scored" a DR77 on ebay, missing remote, charger, software, manual, etc. I don't know what I was thinking! SharpUSA gave me zero help and wasted lots of my time. I really can live if I just get the cradle and some software would be great, but then that leads me to my next question: The DR77 supposedly came out in 2004, is listed on some websites as NetMD, and yet I see NO usb jack on the unit? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
