hi, My system is an HP Pavilion t480.nl, AMD Athlon 64, 2 GHz 512 MB DDR USB 2.0 Windows XP Home Edition SS 3.3 Sony mp3 player NW-E405 First, SS3.0 did not detect my NW-E405, while Windows Explorer did. Then I reinstalled SS3.0 without effect Then I upgraded to SS3.3 SS now detects the device but reports the error mentionned by allewedertje: SonicStage (00000452-9094) ... you must delete all tracks in the ATRAC audio device or initialize the hard drive of the ATRAC audio device First, I tried to delete all files, but the file 04CNTINF.DAT in folder OMGAUDIO doesn't delete. Then, I found this thread, and followed the instructions, but I couldn't find the files ssdbconnection.exe and ssscsisv.exe. I nevertheless executed omg1t2, and it behaved as described. But SS 3.3 keeps reporting the same error. thanks for any help. now I have delete the music from the device, I don't even know how to use it...
