LOL. *robot voice* Thanks for your opinions, Volta, but you still haven't answered my question. Which is better - the E931 or E930? And, by the way, I asked for ones with SP cords and only one of your suggestions has that. Edit: typo.
-
Yes, please. But, if you got the white version, then don't even bother. lol Kidding. Not necessarily. Most of the Canon Powershot Point-and-Shooters have optical viewfinders.
-
I was also thinking of doing the Bass Mod, but I was afraid it would make the Eggos a tad more open and I'd lose the isolation that I desperately need at places like the library. It's so tempting to just do the mod and if things don't turn out as planned, I'd get the K81 for on-the-go and Eggos for home.

Stuge: Easy there. He already said why he wanted them and that he could not audition prior to purchase. lol And, don't flip-flop on your opinions because it will make your opinion seem less trustworthy. I did a quick Google search to see if there were any E931 reviews and found this: http://www.atraclife.com/forums/index.php?...ost&p=10716 "E931 are good." -Stuge Earlier, I also suggested the EX90SP, but finalcoolman stated that he wanted some "cheap, but good value" headphones. I think if he gave a price range (in addition to location), it would be easier to suggest more.

A440 is saying that your sister may find the E931 to be unpleasant, while you won't notice it. So, since you're still after what's better: - E930 could be better for her (I say "could" because A440 said she "may" notice a difference. Who knows, maybe she'll like the E931. That's why greenmachine said it's better to audition them rather than rely on specs.) - E930 or E931 for you So again, get both (or 2 x E930).
-
To be honest, I didn't tell you which one to buy because sound quality is highly subjective - it will be hard to agree on an ultimate "better" or "best," in my opinion. And, I would never buy stock earbuds. I prefer an upgrade or something different from stock (like headphones or canalphones). But, since you're looking for some sort of answer, how about this? Buy one of each. Listen to both. Keep the earbuds that you prefer. Give the other one to your sister.
-
And, they'll charge a 3% + $0.30 fee on top of that lawsuit amount.
-
So are you buying based on price, if it's SP, or both? When someone asks for SP-corded, there are 2 that come to mind for me. The Sony EX90SP (LP version here in the USA) is getting some good reviews lately. There is also the legendary Sharp MD33 (also short) that a lot of MD users promote. I agree with Volta - I wouldn't pay Audiocubes' prices for stock earbuds (I think the E931 comes stock with the Japanese RH1). You may get a better deal by placing a Waiting-To-Buy ad in the classifieds if you're set on the E931/E930. Good luck.

If you have access to one, try IKEA. They've got a lot of contemporary furniture and house/storage things as well as "Make Your Own" furniture kits (you buy the table tops, legs, drawers, etc, separately) that involve minimal handyman skill. Their prices are pretty affordable, too. They've got a website, but a lot of it isn't available for online purchase. Maybe your title should read, "My Dresser Is Too Small" instead. Good luck!

It looks like Volta has deleted his post (Premium Member abilities, I'm assuming) and I only quoted part of his comments, but he did mention that not all Hi-MD units have USB. The DS-HMD1 is also a great choice, but no one has seen it for sale anywhere (outside of Japan, that is) for some time now. If you want to give away your RH10 and still get the EH1/EH50, you could also get a low-end downloader like the NH600D in addition to your players. Factory-sealed can be had for as low as $60 on eBay. Good luck.
-
Just wondering. After taking all those pictures, how was your battery level?
-
It was my understanding that the RH710 is the downloader/recorder while the DH710 is the downloader-only. Never heard of an RH710D. Unless it's a new hybrid. Again, just to repeat porter and Volta, the EH1 is a player-only model and cannot make a USB connection. Although I'm pretty sure bogon07 mistyped and meant "RH1," no?
-
Actually, there have been quite a few people in the MDCF past that have had this problem. Mainly hacks done incorrectly or people entering service mode without prior/proper experience or guidance. If you seriously want to save this unit, you would need to get a hold of the service manual for the N710 (or maybe a similar unit like the NF810). Personally, I would save myself the headache and just get a new unit. Good luck.
-
I've also found that usually, if you look in the spammer's profile, under "Minidisc units," it says the spammer's username.
-
How did I miss this? I noticed your watermelon-headed avatar and not your "Moderator" badge. Congrats, Richy!
-
Yes. You can check RH1 reviews/pictorials for more confirmation of the battery that it uses. You would be better off contacting the seller directly. He/she can best answer that question. Good luck.
-
Yep. Excuse the typo. You'll have to check out the mega-thread on these headphones vs Grados, PX100, KSC75/35, and others. It's a VERY long read. I think I even remember some selling their SR80 because of them. There's even mention of the MS-1.
-
Recently, the AKG K8DJ are slowly giving other popular under-$100 headphones (eg, SR60/80, PX100, KSC75, V6, etc) a run for their money over at Head-Fi. And, they're pretty picky over there.

MZ-NH1 and his friends to enjoy FULL Hi-MD potential

Does the MCMD-R1 come with an AC adapter or is it powered via AAA only? This would be a nice setup for my T7. -
Just wondering. What do the backs of these blanks look like? Are they color-matching and opaque? Or, see-through?
-
lol That stinks. The MC60 came with the DH10P (North American, at least) and who knows what else since your Sony rep thinks it comes with the RH1... ... Maybe they have no more spare RH1 remotes because the Chinese are selling them all on eBay.
-
If you're not set on the 33L that came standard with your N710, you can try looking for newer model Sony LCD remotes. Remotes are listed here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=8147. Maybe something with a backlight, like the 33EL, 11EL, or 38EL, which can be found for as low as US$20 on eBay. NOTE: The "Sony MD Tuner Remotes" and "RM-MC33ELU/RM-MC35ELKU" will NOT work with your N710. "EL" = remote has a (turquoise) backlight Good luck!

SonyStyle, AudioCubes, and eBay still have the MCMD-R1 for sale, if you're interested. lol Are you thinking of the DS-HMD1 maybe? They look pretty similar at first glance.
