Hi, service pack 1 (do i need sp2? if so , out of interest, why?) there are avi codec packs installed, they have always been there and it occurs with almost all songs that are transferred. Thanks for you help on this

Hello, Sorry if this has been covered on another thread, couldn't find it anywhere. Everything was lovely, was using Sonic Stage 2 (or thereabouts) with my MZ-NH600D when i decided to update to 3.4 ARRGGHHHHH Now when ever a song is transferred it's playback is what can be described as "digital glitchy" and choppy (unlistenable). I have uninstalled everything (fully, deleted registries etc) and reinstalled, both 3.4 and also the older more basic one, yet I cannot transfer music to my MD without this happening. I am using XP if that helps Any help at all would be fantastic, I don't know what else to do, except maybe a complete PC reinstall, but that seems extreme.
