  1. thats pretty cheap... for sony that is... i expected at least 200-250 for the 2GB... but anyone know why australia doesnt sell the a608? i couldnt find it anywhere, and ended up going to hong kong to buy one >_>
  2. there are these things in the market. i bought two of these things in hong kong, but i havent tried to see if they worked yet, but they look exactly like the ones that came with the sony NW-A608-SI (see pics in link posted above). the ones which i bought also have the same voltage: input: AC100V-240V 50Hz output: DC5V, 500mA but there are also ones which have different out put voltages: i have seen 200mA, and also 1000mA, could someone tell me what would happen if i were to use one of these instead?
  3. yeah i thought so too... but cos connect is so slow i cant stand it.
  4. how come when i turn on my a608 it says "function limited". i already tried formatting it today, and it still had this problem... basically, when i hold the FUNC key, and i goto the "Intelligent Shuffle - Music Library - FM" menu, "Intelligent Shuffle" is greyed out, ie. i cant select it. has this happened to anyone else? i reckon its cos of the songs i have in the machine (right now i have 313..), before when i formatted it, and i put one song in, the Intelligent Shuffle worked... anyone know why?? (and i do have unicode characters in my song titles)
  5. i have a pair of Pioneer SE-CL20, and two paris of Sony MDR-EX51LP. i bought the SE-CL20 first in japan, and i thought they were good. but i prefer to use the sony ones because the ear piece fits in my ear more comfortably. the pioneer ones seem to stivk out a little bit out of my ear. also i prefer to use the sony earphones because they are long corded, but that is your own opinion. the 'phones cost me: SE-CL20 (2280 yen) white/blue MDR-EX51LP (225 hk dollars) black MDR-EX51LP (68 australian dollars) <- such a friggin rip-off
