So is this the end of the format, at least as a field recording medium? Too bad, I got alot of use out of my MZ-RH910 as a band recorder, but it look likes better options are available, especially recording directly to MP3 as the Zoom H2/4 boxes can.

I am looking to replace my now defunct MZ-RH910 and there doesnt seem to be ANY new Hi-MD recorders in the $200 dollar range only the new Sony MZM 200 that is 350.00 No other Hi-MD recorders come up as available when i search and Sony seems to have the only one that you can buy I used the 910 to record my band practices Are recording Minidiscs a thing of the past? Should I look into the Zoom H2 SD Flash recorder?
