Hello Ishiyoshi, I checked the WMA files already, they are not WMA9 or the others you mentioned. I put these files in the same folder as MPEG-4 files, do I need to put them inside another folder? Else PSP can;t read them? Another thing is, PSP would be more perfect if they have a HDD. Maybe the next version!

Hi Bruut, Nope, I tried your steps but still could not get to the OTHERS. When POWER display on screen, no matter I press UP/DOWN together or UP and DOWN, it only displays the following 3 options. V CHK A RD A WR Really frustrating, please Help or should I talk with Sony tech support in Singapore? (if they have) thanks!

Ok, I will try the video convertor you mention. Thanks. For WMA Playback, yes, I did enabled it in System Settings after firmwware upgrade. The enable was done very fast through PSP wireless connection to my acess point. You mentioned about some nline instructions, I can;t remember I had to do any step. I just need to say YES to it, then I assume the Playback has been enabled. Did I do the right thing?

Hello, thanks my friend. After I renamed the videos as per your advice, they all work. Great, cool, very good resolution. I use the shareware IamToo PSP Converter, is the recommended Image Converter from SONY a better product? But IC is more expensive. IamToo costs US$19 only. Last but not least, I have enabled WMA playing, but still the PSP cannot read the .WMA clips in the same folder. Any idea? Thanks!

Hi, I put the Mpeg-4 clips in a folder Psp\Video in a memry stick , but still can not see the video. PSP says there is no video. By the way, I use a freeware to convert .AVI to Mpeg-4. For photo and MP3 songs, I do the same, create the folder Music and Photo , it works fine. Please help!

I really need some help to boost the volume of my A1000. I bought in Singapore. The hack steps for UK item mentioned in this thread does not seem to work for my Singapore item. I canonly complete till Step 3 , I am in test mode with the word "POWER" display on screen. After that, all I have is V CHK and 2 other option. Instead, I should get to see an option menu, right? Can anyone help? Really appreciate.
