  1. Thanks for the reply guys. Last night i uninstalled Connect and installed Sonic Stage 4.0 and upgraded my firmware to 3.0 (nwa-1000b). I have to say i was left dissapointed, whilst sonic stage has some usefull tools like being able to get track/album info for your music already ripped to your harddisk (unlike connect which only does this when riping) I have had nothing but problems. Firstly i tried to get Sonic Stage to format my MP3 player, however the software doesnt seem to have this option unlike connect. I then selected all my music on my MP3 player and selected and hit the delete key. This proceded to hang the software which i had to end task. Upon re-opening the sonic stage software i decided to use the delete all from device option and supprisingly this worked. I then proceded to try and send my music library to the device (all my music is either MP3 or WMA) but each time it would tell me that it couldnt transfer the tracks without giving me a reason why, upon clicking the ok button on this message it would loose connection of the device telling me that there was now no space left on it. Disconnectiong and reconnecting the device would solve. I have tried several methods of trying to send my music (one track at a time, send all) but every time it just fails with cannot send track. I have now given up and have gone back to connect which works fine even though it has abvious limitations.
  2. With the Release of Sonic Stage 4.0 CP and the fact that sonys new MP3 player the NWA1200 comes bundled with this software not the Connect software, does this mean the CONNECT will be dropped? Will there be any future support for the CONNECT software or should i uninstall it now and install the latest version of Sonic Stage?
