  1. Ok guys maybe I'll add another hint. Make sure you don't play any music while starting SonicStage AND what is also important: 1) never copy to the player the file you are listening in the very moment - even if listening in SonicStage! 2) never listen to any music file while copying any file to the player 3) not listening to a file means closing it or stopping - pause is not an option! 4) if it does not help either restart your system and do not run any music program - start only SonicStage! Anyway the problem is related to music codecs as I wrote in the post before. So if there is no other solution make sure to uninstall all codecs/drivers which were not provided with your system.
  2. Ok guys I registered only to help you cuz I resolved the problem . Anyway the reason for which you cannot transfer files is quite simple - AC3filter takesover the mp3 stream and SonicStage cannot transfer the files and convert them. So here is what you should do: 1. Run AC3filter Config (you might have installed AC3filter with a codec package to watch movies or smth). 2. There will be a "warning". Click on OK. 3. Go to "System" tab. 4. In "Filter merit" choose "Prefer other decoder" (default was "Prefer AC3filter"). 5. Click on "Apply". 6. Close the app. 7. Restart SonicStage. 8. Voila! It should work - anyway it worked for me . It is also possible that another codec smth application has a conflict with it (if you have not AC3filter) - if so uninstall it. If you're not sure if you have AC3filter installed on your system check it in the app list in the Windows control panel. Hope this helps .
