Matt of Minidisco suggested I post this question to the experts in this forum... I have an opportunity to buy a used Sony home MD deck. However, the unit is a model from overseas (UK) which operates on 220 volts. I know that by using a 110V to 220V transformer I would be able to power the unit but I'm concerned about the European 50Hz versus the North American 60Hz power cycle. Could this affect the proper operation of the deck? The deck is a Sony MDS-JB940. Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.
