  3. Hi guys, Im new at this forum and find it very interesting here... I bought my first portable md recorder, a sony MZ-R55 quite a few years ago. This because i was mixing as a hobby and wanted to record my mix sessions. With this recorder (old skool) i had to record using the line in of the unit. If i wanted to make a minidisc to listen to some songs on my way to work, I would use winamp to select the songs i would like to put onto the minidisk and just record (using the line in) while playing the playlist. Sometimes, especially when recording older songs, i used a pitch control plugin for winamp to make a song play a bit faster. I still own this unit and this method of recording worked fine but since i was recording with the line in, it obviously took alot of time. Now i recently bought a sony MZ-NF810 from a friend. I was very happy with it, since i could use LP2 and LP4 functions to put more music on the minidiscs. Also the software (Sonicstage) was very nice, since transfering songs to a minidisk took much less time! The only problem i have now is this: As i mentioned earlier, i sometimes boosted the pitch off the older songs i was recording on minidisk. But i can't seem to find a function with Sonicstage to do this. Is there like a software plugin or something that can adjust pitch settings for a track you are recording to a minidisc or any other way to get this effect? Coz i would hate to go back to line in recording just for this. Greetz, Buzz
