I recorded a concert by my group on an Mz-nh700 by mic in recently and am unable to upload it via SonicStage. I have been able to do this in the past using the same version of SonicStage. I believe that since the last time I uploaded stuff I have changed disks and am uploading to a new disk. I did re-authorize to the sony connect store. I have reinstaled the sonicstage software. I can do anything else on the MD from the PC (change titles, upload new tracks, play tracks, etc.) except transfer to library. I have uploaded previous mic in recordings with the same software with no problems. What really pisses me off is I just spent an hour on the Sony support site allegedly talking to a support rep who turned out to be a chat bot. I explicitly asked "are you a real human" and of course he obsequiously assured me he was (but couldn't tell me where he was born). Told me to read the manual (done that). Asked if I had read the (reasonably appropriate page). I said yes. As soon as I did that the connection was terminated (with appropriate decorative messages like " are you still there? I can't see a connection") and I can't select the text and show you all because it's a Java applet and so somehow outside the Windows clipboard. I have no objection to using bots for productive customer support applications. But to use them like honeypots, tying up people with real support issues until they can't stand to deal with the clueless "support rep" on the other end of the line, really annoys me.
