I backed up almost all of my songs . the problems is that i dont want to format the DAP because its really a big headache to arrange all the songs by the id3 tag again . Is there any way like to transfer the data from my Walkman to pc and then some how to synchronize it with sonicstage?????

I downloaded sonic stage 4.3 pacific. It didnt help . It says to format the walkman. Any other suggestions?????

Hi all! I have a little problem with my Walkman and sonic stage. I got some viruses on my Pc, soi had no choice but to format it . Now to the problem. I installed again the sonic stage (the latest version), but when I plugged in the player its says that I have format it because im using different kind of sonic stage version . Is there anything i can do but not formating it . IT took me long time to aranged the songs , and many of them i dont have any more on my pc . I tried to install older version of sonic stage , the same thing. I have nwa 1000 . Thanks to all!

Ok i will try to defrag but not sure if it will help my devise is preaty fast so i dont think i need it. And JSP62 what do you mean by "dicipline yourself on how you treat your player" believe me i treat it whery well but the only problem is the artist rating uptade when it get stuck , then it mess up my database. I formated my player with the build in option in the player itself, and managed to transfer or my music and more back. But i dont realy wont to do it all overe again at next time when all i want is to add single song . P.S Do you think i should wait for ss4.1 or try to fix it now???? Can I dissable the artis rating feature so SS 4 will not update the rating each time i connect it?

Hi all ! I am using a 1000 series walkman untill now i was realy pleased with it, great sound great look easy to use. But resently im getting trouble with song transfer. I am using sonicstage 4 for about 2 month and had no problems with it. But now when im connecting the walkman to pc , sonic stage recognizes it and then it says "Updating Artist rating" then when it get to 74% its getting stuck. So when its not responding im rebooting the SS4 an disconnecting the plsyer. when im torning on the player it says i have no songs on it( they all disapier!!!!!) when im connecting tha player again its updating the devise data base and than i got error: "[ that my data base is not updated and ss4 cannot update it and asking me to recconect the player or disable the speasial futers on the devise) I i had tried everything but the only way is to format the player and then to coppy all the music again. i cant format it every time i want to add a song on it . plz need your help.

Hi to all! Just got my nwa1000 walkman (looks realy great) and have few questions. 1)How long i have to charge the battery for the first time? And should i charge it from usb (i heard its better for the battery??) or the adapter?? 2) should i install the connect and uptade it or go for sonicstage 4 ????? Thank you!!!

Hi. For the past few weeks i was lookin for one of these sony walkmans, and i have a couple of questions. 1) is there anu diference between the 3000 and 1200 models (exept the capicity). 2) i heard that 3000 is 18 giga and not 20 as promised. what about the 1200 is that device 8 gigs or less. 3) Im thinking to get the walkman from japan (its cheaper than in my country). will the walkman come with english or japanes languege as main , and if it come with japanes will i be able to istall european firmware on it?
