  1. What is the best way to record music from my old minidiscs onto my hard-drive IN STEREO? I just have a regular desktop home PC 2.5G, Windows XP......my minidisc player is a portable sony (MZ-S1). I have a cord pluged into MD's headpnone jack (IN) and the other end is in the line-OUT jack on the back of PC. people have told me to use Audacity to record but it comes out all scratchy and is ONLY IN MONO. Please tell me what I need to do to make a STEREO (not neccesarily digital) transfer of music from my minidiscs a simply put the music onto my pc's hard-drive. I also have a home component Minidisc player through my stereo receiver, it's all the way across the room. I just thought I could just hook up my portable minidisc player to make it easier. But would the bigger MD player through the stereo system work better? Or what? Please let me know cables, software, what I am missing here...........anything? Thanks.
