  1. So far So good...RH1 is a black devil little thing! As most of the settings are better done by the remote (its a bit uncomfortable directly from the device) , I'm thinking of buying the 3-line remote came with the MZ-NH1(in my opinion is the best remote ever made).I still cannot get familiar with the remote the RH1 has...either I'll use the older one from the MZ-N1 I have. PS:the Bass settings are quite nice.Though there's a volume limitation for all european models.Hope soon there'will be some way to 'unlock' this and make it play louder. cheers ilias
  2. I think i was really lucky...in the Czech Republic they imported only 3 pieces (of the MZ-RH1)..and i picked up the last one this morning...next date in here will be 20th of June...why they hesitate to ask for more?Release, release!!!! PS:I'm surprized that the remote is somehow for ''lefties''...(the previous remotes had the volume/play levers on right),you can adjust the volume with the left hand...but thats really a minor detail ...its AWSOME!!!!!
  3. Next week i will buy the MZ-RH1 from Sony Prague (price 9.490kn / 334euros).After consulting the very well structured and detailed review(MY COMPLIMENTS)and all the forum marathon, I decided to ''go for it''.Actually my only dilemma (remained for quite a lot of time)...is the external case for dry batteries..excluded feature, but somehow Sony eased the pain by giving the ability to charge it via USB , so as I work a lot with my laptop even around it will be less than a problem, though yes, a second Lit-ion battery might be necessary later on...My previous MD was the MZ-N1 and compare to that model...the RH1 rocks! Only for the MP3 feature introduced, MORE elevated transfer speeds ect.. it worths the deal.Price acceptable...the MZ-N1 costed me 430euros in 2002... Is it correct that the Standard Warranty for this product is 1 Year International/European Service??? And does somebody know if its possible to expand it to 2 or even 3 years? Greetings ilias
