Last year, I went to a website that is linked to Minidisco. On this website, there was discussion about the lack of features that Sonic Stage has as compared to I-Tunes. This website posted a homemade program that was designed to work on Hi-MD recorders but it was supposed to have an interface like I-Tunes. I downloaded the program but I was unable to get it to work. I thought I had deleted it from my computer and the Hi-MD but I believe that it is still in the Hi-MD or my computer or both. A few months later, I began to have problems with my Hi-MD. I would record music on it, play it several times and separate the tracks only to have it tell me that it could not record or play the music anymore. Much to my chagrin, I would end up having to reformat my disc thereby erasing my precious mixes. Some of my Hi-MD discs have become unusable and I have had to throw them out. The only clue I had that it may have been the program I download that was doing this was when I was attempting to play and download music from one of my discs through Sonic Stage and it advised me that an attempt had been made to format and record music on the disc with software other than Sonic Stage. I cannot remember the website I downloaded the program from or the name of program itself. Is anyone familiar with the program I'm talking about? Is there any way I can wipe all erroneous programs from my Hi-MD and my computer that might affect Sonic Stage? Please help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
