what's the sound quality like using that method, does it depend on the sound card?

None of my discs are recorded in MDLP format. My hi-fi is an older unit, pre 2000, I added a link to it in my previous post if it helps. Thanks

Hi Everyone. I've had a Sony minidisc hi-fi for years now and have over 500 albums on minidisc. My wife recently bought a Sony MWA1000 MP3 player and is now wanting to copy tracks from my minidiscs to the MP3 player. I'd be grateful if anyone you tell me if: a) this is possible how to go about it as I have no idea Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
